Short Courses

We offer short qualifications in a range of subjects. These are at Level 1, Level 2 and Level 3 and are accredited with NCFE/Cache. These short courses are a great starting point for motivated and enthusiastic people who want to improve their knowledge and understanding, go on to further study or are looking for a change of career.

The courses will be of interest to employers wishing to increase business performance, improve quality and build a skilled, committed and knowledgeable workforce.

Funding via the Workforce Development Fund (WDF) is available.

Short Courses

We can offer short qualifications as stand alone or as part of a larger qualification in a range of subjects. These can be at Level 1 or Level 2, and accredited with NCFE/CACHE. These small qualifications are designed for people wanting to gain new skills looking for a career in the health and social care sector or for employers wishing to upskill their staff with specialist knowledge.

Our principal purpose is to engage adults and provide the skills and learning they need to equip them for work, an apprenticeship or further learning. These courses are a great starting point for training for eager, motivated and enthusiastic staff in order to improve both themselves and the performance of the business and build a skilled, committed and knowledgeable workforce.

Our short courses are usually delivered in the classroom. Learners will attend a number of short sessions over 2-3 hours and complete workbooks to achieve the qualification. Learners’ work will be assessed and moderated by experienced tutors over a period of 12 weeks
